"The swift fox has come out of his burrow in the big, open grasslands of the western plains. In the burrow he is safe and warm, particularly on the bitter cold prairie nights. This little fellow, basking in the winter sun, is probably only vaguely aware of his fluffy ocher and gray fur, which is so attractive to our eyes."
